I have had 2 rounds with one of the major IB. They loved me after the 1st round, brought me back for 2 round next day. However, it has been almost a week and I have not heard from them after the 2 round. Does it sound like a NO?:-(( How much time do they usually take?

This happened to me last year when I interviewed for an SA position. Most of the time they get back to you within a few days, sometimes even the same day, if you are a yes or no, but with people on the fence they can wait longer. Last year I waited a week before calling the BB and then was told I was on hold and that they would get back to me later.
You're probably on hold. The turnaround time at banks is usually very, very quick.
If i am working through a recruiter, should I call them directly and ask them? Or just wait?? What does it mean on hold? That I am not their first choice??
you're not their first choice, but you're not their last either. They want to see more ppl, and if they really can't get anyone better, they'll take you.
