Wall Street vs Wall Street 2.

Which one should I rent on Amazon? Which one did you enjoy watching the most and which one is most similar to today's wall street culture? If you know any other movies that are more similar to the wall street of today, please share. Thanks

From what I've heard, both aren't going to be similar to today's Wall Street culture and you should definitely rent the first one over the second. Enjoy.

Wall Street 1. There is no Wall Street 2; I refuse to acknowledge any movie starring theBeef. Wall Street might actually better capture the street today, in some form of life imitating art. But really neither represent reality.

With government involvement what it is, Too Big to Fail might be about right. Smartest Guys In the Room isn't really "wall street" but a good look at securities fraud. Boiler room is fun too.

No movies embody what is actually going on. If you want to get insight into what is going on I can recommend quite a few good reads. Though that doesn't help your movie queue......Boiler Room is a good rec as previously mentioned. WS2 isn't terrible.....It's like a mixture of 08 details and then typical mainstream bullshit. HBO's Too Big To Fail is like watching the full length story on full fast forward DVR, really choppy on the details.

If you want some book suggestions just shoot me a message.

wall street 2 was not bad because of shia. It was bad because of the story line (or lack there of) and other details.

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.
