The difference between successful people and others is largely a habit - a controlled habit of doing every task better, faster and more efficiently.
 

I find this very interesting as I was talking with bankers just the other day who said Jefferies gave out no bonus to many Analysts and Associates last year. Heard similar about Morgan Stanley.

Anyone have input on this?

Most people realize that for many, many reasons, the numbers are bogus. Average pay at an investment bank itself really means nothing.

That said, it's itneresting to see how this number's chagned over time. I remember a few years back how GS's "average pay" was north of $500k. I wonder if pay has really dropped this much, or if the numbers just have different methodologies in the way they were determined...
