Way Too Early Question About Entrepreneurial Type Exit

Let’s say you want to be a franchisee or other type of small business owner after your banking stint- is it really that easy to just jump into that off the rip without any experience in operations/management or skills other than banking? Does it make more sense to try out LMM PE first to get your toes wet with the strategic/ops side? If anybody has insight/experience/observations on this lmk thx
