Ways to stand out ahead of An2 to Aso1 promotion?

Hey everyone, An2 in coverage M&A at a MM IB, (hopefully) approaching the end of my time as an analyst. I've developed a good relationship with my current team and seniors in my group, so looking for any tips to put myself in the best position for a promotion to Senior Analyst / Associate.

Keen to hear any tips / thoughts / traits from analysts & associates that have helped you stand out, and potential ways to influence the VPs / staffers / MDs that ultimately decide on the promotions. Specifically, are there any tips or recommendations so that your team view you as an associate rather than an analyst ahead of a promotion, either specifically work-focused or more general qualitative / personality-based?
