I was recently in contact with someone regarding a potential WF opening in Charlotte, NC. I knew that was the HQ but did not know of the exact footprint outside. Is their an IB presence in Atlanta, GA? If so, how open are they to transfers to and from cities, especially at the start? Also, it would be good to know if certain cities focus on certain industries.

Charlotte is WF's IB hub. There arnt any IB groups in Atlanta

I think there are only a couple of S&T guys based out of Atlanta (literally 1 or 2). Everything else is Charlotte, NYC, or LA (MM).
Adding onto what the above posters said, WF has some ABL (Capital Finance) and corporate/commercial banking presence in ATL.
