Received an offer from one of the CRE groups at WF, and was wondering if I would still be able to lateral to IB in the future? Currently intern at a boutique where I’m expecting a return offer, but not sure if they’d offer a higher base

I would say yes you probably could eventually. The CRE bankers live a great lifestyle for not much less pay than IB. I would consider it it’s a great place to be in.
