Take this with a grain of salt but from what I’ve heard from other interns deal flow is good, culture is great (especially in Charlotte), one of the sweatier groups in New York (75+ hrs) as opposed to CLT.

Still a robust lender in the space (legacy led since Rivas was a banks banker), more active in M&A especially with the Schroders-Nuveen deal.

Comp is good, and turnover is low mostly to MM-MFPE. Some of the smartest people I know are here and still a very good place to be. Would consider it a top 3 group in the bank. Lmk if you have Qs

 

They’re definitely growing insurance more, based out of NYC, not quite sure of what else because haven’t had exposure to senior leadership. I assume the group is growing because deal flow is up.
