How common is it for analysts to have to work on Christmas? Is it the norm, or just the brutal groups?
It's 99% dependent on what you're staffed on at the time. If you're staffed on a deal that's blowing up over the holidays, well, that sucks, you might be grinding while everyone else is drinking spiked eggnog. Otherwise, it's pretty much fine and expected that you'll be out of the office, visiting family.

CH is right. Generally not bad, but we have a deal that is expected to close by the end of the year and some things need to be buttoned up.
