ethernet is key if you'll be working from a city like Anchorage
Most monitors are fine (I'm not a geek, but anything typically >$150 each by a name brand is solid). As for keyboard, cannot really mess up here but just make sure you like the way the keys click and it has a tack that plugs into the computer which connects the mouse and keyboard. The most important thing for me is my monitor arms, lifesavers. If you want to be fancy get a computer mount / thinkpad dock and a standing desk.
