What are my chances - Confused! IBD
So I had an interview with the VP staffer - passed that after being grilled hardcore - It is a small team within a Global Bank. The next round was with the MD - he literally tore me a new one and even during the interview told me to breathe and stuff like that. I genuinely thought I was done - to my surprise I am now meeting with the VP (assume line manager) now.
Is this not an odd way to do it? What are my chances, legit the MD grilled me and said I should know xyz, and other mean shit.

I’d assume that the interview with the MD couldn’t have gone too bad if you now have another interview coming up. He probably wanted to see how you behave in very stressful situations. If he didn’t like you, you probably wouldn’t have gotten another interview.
So I’d say there’s definitely still a chance.
