way too much blank space. you need to try fill it with as much as possible alongside action words and quantifying your impact. you have some good experience for a first year so utilise it by really fleshing out your points.

also personally i wouldn’t have the intro- HR only spend 5 secs per CV so they aren’t gonna read all of it.

Use the LSE BIG Guide as a reference for what you should do regarding formatting/ filling the page up.

Triple B is going to fuck you over so badly. You will get rejected by pre-screening for a lot of the firms.

Still worth applying though

Meh firms don't really consider first year grades. I got a 2:2 first year (at my uni first year has 0% weighting) and still got summer internships. Firms understand that first year is unserious (unless you do prelims at Oxbridge) and sometimes weighted 0%.

To answer you other comment if you want to maximise chances of getting a FT job in 2027, then probably don't waste your time applying to front office roles at BBs/EBs. Insurance is really underrated in this country and can provide good comp with decent WLB. Big 4 pretty much takes anybody these days so you could apply to them for audit etc.

thats a virtual webinar series lmao, these kids got to stop prestige baiting

I don’t want to waste my time applying to things that just won’t happen, I’d much rather spend my time applying to other options and then maximising my chance of getting them if they’re more viable
