I thought Vici’s acquisition of the remaining interest in the JV with BREIT (essentially Mandalay Bay and MGM LV) to be a huge win for Vici. Vici assumed ~$3BN of debt but at ~100bps cheaper than their current weighted avg rate at around 3.5% (seems like a great move in this market). Also it’s just a cool industry to watch. Lots of action in Vegas.
Also (maybe I’m wrong and this is normal) but it seems like BREIT made a few larger sales since the news of investors trying to pull out. So that’s something to watch.
