What can an IB internship help me with other than IB?
Not sure if this is a stupid question but I've done an Ibanking internship at a boutique firm. I have one semester of school left and was wondering what other jobs/internships I could qualify for with this internship. I would like to get another internship in something different such as S&T, ER, or maybe Asset Management. I just want to use the Ibanking internship to leverage my chances of getting another one.
The reason why I ask this is because I am a Biology major and getting that first internship was a real pain and had to explain myself every time. Would I be better off just doing another one at another IBank and just aim for Ibanking after graduation? I am just going to tell them I will work for free/around my classes. Also I am from a non-target.

You thought explaining your bio major was a pain? Try explaining why you went IB > AM > in an ib interview. Just leverage the first internship to get a IBD SA position for your junior year and secure a return offer.
