What does a top IB with a small office in Middle East offer to an intern?
I'm a college student studying in Turkey and I'm currently interviewing for an ibanking analyst internship.
But what does a top IB (most likely JPM but also maybe GS) do in a country where investment banking isn't really big and most of the IB business is handled by the IB divisions of really big commercial banks(Just my opinion, I don't have first hand experiance)?
I believe they all have offices here mostly to have a presence in Turkey and Central Asia but again, I don't really know shit about it.
So I'd like to ask you guys what are my options after the internship if I get it. How likely am I to get a job offer? I speak 4 languages. Could I be transferred to a bigger office of the bank around the world if I wanted to? etc.
