I just went through the same thing. Recruited late, LMM shop junior summer, got an offer from a MM (WB, Baird, HL, that category) bank after re recruiting. It was bad this year im ngl, shit was hard to find but its out there. During my SA stint i would step out for calls instead of going with the other interns for lunch, id send emails at my desk when I had nothing to do, that kinda thing. Need to be networking during that time or its cooked. Most of the interviewing happens in august and its either gonna be an application and an interview the next day, or you applied in july and you get the first round end of august. It requires a lot more volume since most banks have most slots filled from SA class, so be ready to send 100 emails and get zero responses. It is possible tho, just keep sweating through it.
