What else, besides GPA and a relevant major?

Student at Northwestern

My understanding is that a GPA above 3.6 will land me at least a few interviews with the BB firms.

But what else do those firms look for? I'm interested in what an ideal candidate for the most sought jobs looks like.

I have no problem managing my GPA, except for some language classes freshman year that I did poorly in, but I'm not sure what else to be doing. Do I need a semester at LSE? Some sort of club activity? I honestly don't know quite what I want to do after school, and am not sure if I even truly want to finish a degree here. I'm just curious about this topic as I entered the university thinking this is what I want to do.
