What firms are paying Analysts real bonuses these days?
So, seems GS / MS are not paying bankers. Who IS paying them. Are there any firms / large or boutique that are doing well and paying more robust bonuses? Who are the standouts?
Are the boutiques like qatalyst and centerview still paying? I heard those analysts wreck shop when it comes to pay, but maybe that's just base?
Some of the tech focused boutiques have been paying above street for the past couple of years. I don't know Qatalyst's comp, but if you look at their revenue/person, they have to be well above street.
Centerview is paying quite well. A friend of mine (1st year associate) just bought himself a $4m condo.
He bought it with his wife I believe.
