Every university has a slightly different interpretation when equating US/UK grades.
But I would say that the ABSOLUTE LOWEST you can go and still be ALMOST ABSOLUTELY in the clear is 3.2.

i am sure, if i have already informed my recruiter that my current GPA is 3.37, the conditional offer has to be less than what i have right now, since it would just be unfair otherwise.

2:1 degree is usually 3.3-3.5, this according to most GPA conversion tools online.
