What is Equities & Corporate Finance within Corporate & Institutional banking, how does it differ from IB and what exit ops does it have?

I’m looking at a job posting that says “Equities & Corporate Finance, within the Corporate & Institutional segment of our bank”.

Can someone explain what this is, and if/how it’s different from investment banking? Also, what are some of the exits if you enter at analyst level?
