What is Rabobank and is it that bad?
Anyone heard of Rabobank and how is it for the NYC office? looking at past threads it seems like it is a joke. I have a superday coming up with them for 2019 SA
Considering that i want to do IB and PE/VC long term, would I be better off choosing Rabobank IB or BB S&T? I feel like Rabobank IB will give you 0 looks into PE anyways. I'm also set on getting my MBA in the future.
Don't believe everything you hear on the forums. I used to get happy hour with guys from Rabo and know a guy working at a top PE firm who was in their food/agri M&A group.
That being said its not a bulge bracket and even though you'd be learning all the skills you need to succeed in PE, BB S&T is definitely the better look for your resume.
thanks for the insight. how would i go about BB S&T to PE/VC. I've heard post MBA buy side is super hard without pre MBA buy side experience

I did a corporate banking internship with Rabo. They're the premier food and ag bank, and they work with lots of the top restaurant chains, beverage companies, food manufacturers, farmers, etc etc. You won't see much of any other type of transactions because they only do food and ag in the US.
