What is the ACTUAL expected all-in comp for analysts?
Getting antsy about bonuses. Is this WSO link accurate? Can we really expect bonuses to be 50-100% of base?

The bonus range strikes me as too high, especially the lower end being 50%. Can any older bankers chime in on what typical bonuses ranges were like historically? I know it obviously depends on the bank, but it'd be nice to get some data points.
I'd be sad if my bonus is only 50%. If it's any less I'll jump off the building.
Do you have roof access? I was specifically told I do.
With these new base salaries and 2022 likely being a down year I feel like 50% would not be a huge surprise
Noted, will start saving money to bribe the office cleaner for the roof access then
60% on low end
Those numbers are based on lower base salaries ($85k) and this year has been a down year for IB revenue.
Bonuses are variable across street (EBs are higher) but your typical BB is not giving 100% of the new base levels to 1st year analysts, even in a great year. I'd ballpark 50%-80% for a first year analyst on the new bonuses, depending on IB performance. If IB is way up or way down, those numbers could flex a bit. I know of mid-bucket analysts who got 40k at BB in a record year last year, so bonuses are really never guaranteed
