What is the Goldman Special Execution Group ?
I am interviewing for Goldman's SEG, however, I have always been focused on going into M&A or S&T. What exactly does the SEG do? I know its internally grouped with IBD. Will I still have the change to pass series 7s? How does the compensation compare to other banking jobs? I can pretty much glean that this is the best thing one could do if they wanted to get into a JD/MBA program. What is the normal career progression from this position? It is listed as an "analyst" position, but would I basically be a paralegal? I have never seen this position listed before...do other banks have this type of structure as well?
for JD/MBA its good, its like global compliance.
