I graduated from a b-school this summer and will be joining an investment bank soon. I did my summer intern there and fortunately received a full-time offer.
However, I recently found out that a manager who recommended giving me the full-time offer has left the bank. What kind of impact, if any, can it have on my status? Is there a possibility that I may be made redundant soon??

Probably not. It's a bank, they have professional courtesy. If it were going to have an effect on your offer, it would probably be reliant on the term/conditions in which he left the bank. Either way, I doubt they would rescind anything because he left.
