What is the typical total associate comp nowadays?

Planning to make a lateral move to a BB/EB, what should I expect as the total comp for 1st year or 2nd year associate? Should I ask for signing if so how much? What are bonus like nowadays? Which firm pay the highest?

Before this last bonus cycle, it'd typically be:

As1: High 200s-mid 300s

As2: 300s-low/mid400s

Didn't know anyone at As3 pre-COVID

This past COVID year:

As1: High 200s-mid 400s

As2: mid 300s-mid 500s

As3: only data point is 600k

So basically, the low end was similar (mix of banks that didn't share revenue gains and in general low performers not benefitting from the pay bumps) but the high end got much much higher
