Responsibilities •Support mid/senior level originators in directly sourcing credit-oriented investment opportunities with both financial sponsors and corporates •Provide support for team’s idea generation and screening as well and marketing materials for both sponsor and corporate clients; attend client meetings as required •Work alongside credit underwriting team across various sub-investment grade and investment-grade products such as direct lending, structured equity, securitization, and NAV loans
Sounds like you would be like their originations desk figuring out comps / leverage reads given the description states you work with direct lending, structured equity, securitization groups, etc. The modeling callout is interesting given there looks to be a team that holds pen on that.
