Cannot put a % on it as you need to look at individuals who a) did not convert, b) actively re-recruited as hard as possible. All of the individuals whom I know did both of these (heavy emphasis on b) made it back in.
Also worth mentioning, many people who do not convert go down other paths, e.g. MBB/leave finance completely.
My advice - keep your CV and Story sharp, and never give up on the applications. You will make it if you want it bad enough and you managed to get here.
