I am a first-year MBA student. I failed the 2 or 3 interviews I had with bulge brackets IBs and now, in late February, I wonder what summer associate position is still open to apply. I am open to boutique or middle market IBs.

I think your best bet is to tap into your MBA network and start asking around.
Hit up smaller shops. If you're at an M7 school, they're prob still recruiting. Kids here who didn't land BB/elite boutiques have been landing stuff with Ray Jay, Leerink, etc.
