Alright so I reached out to some Finance faculty members at my school and a few of them would be willing to let me help them do some research with the goal of getting my name attached to a publication to help me stand out.
Now if my goal is landing a SA stint, or atleast some interviews what would be the best topics to focus on for this research? The professor I got the best response is open to a few project suggestions.
What areas' should I focus on in finance to be most relevant to an actual IB gig.
i guess corporate finance?
there are a lot of things. browse through the economist, wsj, ft, barron's to get ideas for good topics I suggest. and if you're set on IB, focus on banking, trading or like RonaldB said.
