I started my IB internship at FT Partners a couple weeks ago and I keep hearing people saying wack. Do they think I’m wack? Is this something I should know?

WACC - Weighted Average Cost of Capital. It’s mainly used as a form of valuation. Not exactly the most difficult finance method so study it and learn it well as you’ll likely be using it if your colleagues are saying it that often.

Strikingly similar to CPI (Consumer Popcorn Index) and is used as an inflation measure.
