What unacceptable things/liberties become acceptable after MD leaves?

I have not worked in IB. I am a hopeful and have always wondered how do things proceed after the MD, D, VP's have left and it is just analysts and associates from 7/8--> 12+ ?

I've only worked a normal 40 hour banking job so I understand the usual things like face time, being/acting busy, not getting caught on non-work related websites, etc., but again what goes on after hours?

Is there more liberty?
Do you guys listen to music? headphones?
Take off the ties?
Duck out for a run?
YouTube viral?

Yes, I realize after dark is when the 'real' work starts, but obviously there are people out there who can listen to music and enter data.

What unacceptable things become acceptable?

Thanks
