Cycles don’t last as long in this new environment; deal activity won’t take a hit as much as you’d think. The hit to valuations would likely offset any impact to actual target performance… ultimately, yes, there will be RIFs, but I think most are largely insulated at junior levels and the general absence of bloated headcount(s) would serve to offset need to as well.
