What would you base your team decision on?

I have to make my team decision for the analyst position I am starting in a BB in July. What I would like to know, what should I base my decision on? I have a welcome event coming up during which I will be able to ask current team members and get an idea of which team to go for?

So far I am thinking:

How many deals do you complete on a year? What's the split between pitching and live-deals? How many analysts to a deal/MD? Chance of attending client meetings in my first year?

The more analysts there are working with the MD, the less hell your life is going to be especially if you have a nightmare MD. Attending client meetings? Everyone gets to do that. The client won't remember you anyway.

Factors I'd consider apart from how many deals I work on get to close (which seems to be the only relevant consideration in your list) would be what are hours like, are people nice or a real nightmare to work with, has the sector got good exit opportunities etc

Good questions. You may also want to ask them what they think the outlook for their particular group is over the next 12 months. Could ask them how transferable the numerical skills gained in that group are also.
