When to Leave Office as Intern

I'm at a bank without facetime culture, but recently a fellow intern made a remark about me being LIFO (which is just not true) around the full-timers. Struck me the wrong way since I don't even know this guy and it felt in bad faith, but regardless, I was wondering when is an acceptable time to leave the office as an intern?

So far, I've just been doing at the earliest 8:30 and median around 11 PM most days, making sure I've finished all my tasks and making a round with my current staffing to see if anything needs to be done. For context, most full-time people are gone by 6/7 and work from home. A few interns stay super late for the sake of staying late, but I kinda wanted to hear from an anonymous channel when is it acceptable/encouraged to leave?

Make a comment on a mistake he makes in your teams group chat with your mangers in it. Then say “Sorry I meant to send you that message privately”

If he wants to make comments in front of managers like that then that’s some pussy shit. Put him off his game.

He started it 🤷‍♂️
