When to reach out for an update?
I recently interned at a BB over the summer and didn't receive a return offer to my division, but I've been in talks with another team in IB about full-time placement. I met with a VP and an associate on the team two weeks back and they put me into contact with the MD who heads the desk. I spoke with him on Friday of last week. He said he'd circle back with the people I spoke to and that we'd be in contact. When would it be appropriate to reach out to the VP I spoke to for an update?
