I'm a soph right now at a west coast target school. Starting to think about this summer and am wondering what the general procedure is for reaching out to small regional boutiques in SF/LA? I already had a relevant finance internship last summer and am doing a wsp modeling course, so want to target actual IB this summer. Any tips?

I've already been going at it for 6 months now and got nothing yet....
My advice is to actually go out and enjoy college instead of doing financial modeling every day
I'd like to know this too. I'm finishing up my second year at a community college in Westchester and am applying to about 7 targets-semi targets. I'll get into at least 3 but I won't know until March so I've been hesitant to seek banking internships even though I'll have been accepted to a good school by summer. I currently intern at a healthcare consulting/advisory boutique for PE and investment banks and could get a PWM at MS this summer but I really wanna do banking so any advise would be helpful
