I have a project and I have to find data for county, state, and national level forecast (not historical). My boss knows the county level may not exist, but he fully expects the state and national level numbers. I have searched all over and not been able to find any forecast through 2020. I have checked BEA, FRB, and googled a lot.
If I can't find anything, I will just use historic number and do a linear trend line, but I would prefer to have an actual source.

I had checked it out, but I couldn't find future numbers. I'll recheck though, I may have overlooked the forecast section

Thanks, I had looked there already. I am not looking for historical data, I am looking for forecasted data to about 2020
My guess is that you'll have to find a private economic research group (FTI, Macroeconomic Advisers, etc.).
Government economists can't even predict out the next quarter accurately, let alone the next 7 years.
yeah, it seemed like the only data available was private companies that required me to pay for it. But I will browse to see if some of those economic research groups have some info
I know you aren't looking for historical but if you resort to using it vs. forecasted, FRED is the way to go.
yeah, I've already collected the historical data and I used FRED. That was really convenient especially since you can just download the excel
There's a great excel add-in for FRED as well.
