Where do you trade stocks?
Can you guys share your personal stock-trading experience with some of sites such as E*trade, Scottrade, Schwab and others? Recommendations would be also greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

zecco.com 4.50 trades with less than $2500, then ten free per month with more than 2500
MBTrading is also good, you can do flat rate at $5 or 1cent/share ($1 min).
Scottrade is great... $7 flat rate.
I don't trade often enough to really get caught up in saving a few bucks here and there on the few trades I make per year.
i second zecco
Scottrade, very fast trades, extremely reliable, and the support is outstanding. Never realize how important it is until you really need it.
I don't "trade" stocks...its more like catching falling knives then anything else...fucking istar (SFI)
but I use Scottrade (very cheap, reliable, great customer service, now hidden fees)
Don't trade stocks; just keep your money stashed under your mattress and let inflation/dollar decline do its work
Damn stock market (i'm not bitter)
Many banks restrict where and when you can trade stocks... as in which brokers you can use etc. because they have to monitor everything. I had some friends who had to switch accounts and such when they found this out.
I don't trade actively (especially not now with this job...) but Scottrade is good for the low fees. I'm not sure if they have a deal where you can pay lower fees with dollar-cost averaging or any schemes like that but would be great if they did.
I've used E-Trade and Ameritrade before, to me there wasn't a huge difference but both have higher fees than Scottrade.
I myself will have to Axe the Ameritrade account when I go to work... not like I've done anything with it for several months. I don't want high blood pressure from watching 1.5% swings in the Dow every damn day.
i use thinkorswim.com for options and a few futures
Thanks all for your recommendations!
