Is UBS in 2024 better than a top MM (Jeff, RBC, Roths) in the US? Additionally, what are the top groups for UBS now? Lastly, is the CS acquistion a positive for SA 2024 UBS considerations compared to a top MM?

UBS/CS is going to take a very long time to sort out - even once they have the major cuts figured out and deal is closed, there will be years of revenue dis-synergies, integration issues etc.
I still think a BB is better (optionality, branding, etc) than any of those MM banks and would likely still take UBS offer, but I think the deal is going to be a distraction for a while and not immediately a pro for UBS. Maybe a pro in the 5+ year time frame but not immediately
