Which apprenticeship offer should I take

Hello guys, long time lurker first time poster here.

Context: in my country (Germany) it's a common route to do an apprenticeship after highschool before going to uni.

I have 2 offers for apprenticeships on the table:

  • Commerzbank: apprenticeship in retail banking
  • HypoVereinsbank/ UniCredit Bank AG (part of UniCredit): apprenticeship in corporate and retail banking

I am seeking advice which apprenticeship would position me better for a career in IB/ would look better on my resume later on when I go to uni and apply for IBD internships/ FT IBD positions. I also have an assessment centre at Deutsche Bank in 2 weeks and if that works out Ill obviously take that offer. For now though I need to decide between these 2. My goal is to complete a Bachelors after the apprenticeship and work in IB in a Frankfurt or London office.

Any thoughts/ opinions guys? :)
