i read somewhere that Rothschild is advising vivendi. I also read now that BNP, SocGen, JPM and Calyon advise Vivendi. Its reall out in the open.

Yea I read Vodafone might hire GS, but that's about it.
It makes sense for a bulge bracket to accompany boutiques who might be advising Vivendi in order to facilitate financing.
yeah they are advising vodafone in a potential polkom deal as well.
