Same question. Instead of just good/bad culture, would appreciate to learn certain characteristics of each group.

All second hand so take with a grain of salt...

Barcap: Great culture heard that Seniors have pushed back on unreasonable client requests (not sure how true this is maybe just a pipe dream)

BofA: Have heard that they get overworked relative to dealflow, but have nice enough people

Citi: Work hard play hard culture

CS: As user above said tight knit culture generally positive things have pretty good hours for amount of deal flow

GS: Haven't heard the best things in terms of culture, but better than JPM

JPM: Have heard that they had a new group head who was pretty ruthless, hours got a lot worse

MS: Have heard they have a decent culture. Better than GS / JPM, but nothing to write home about

UBS: Good culture just no deal flow
