Which Career Besides HF Would Allow Me To Be A "Pro Value Investor" So To Speak?

Hi,

I know that banking probably doesn't lend itself to value investing, but I'm posting it here since this area gets the most traffic. Basically, I was wondering, besides hedge funds, what career will allow me to basically become a professional value investor for the rest of my life? Would Asset Management do it, or would it mostly just be hedge funds only? I've heard trading is mostly quant/the complete opposite of value investing nowadays, but are there desks that rely on long-term, buy and hold, value investing there as well?

AM's probably a good bet but I guess it'll depend on their investment style.
