SA for 2023. From my understanding usually the MDs will decide if you are interviewed by one. Today I had a SD at a BB with a VP and an associate, no MD. So do the VP and associate relay how I did to random MDs who then decide? Or does the VP and associate tell HR who then decides?

So is it imbalance/unfair? Cuz someone who interviewed the day before me got 2 MDs. So would they therefore have a better chance?
