Does anyone know why people need to apply on a school career website and also on the bank's website? Does the bank download resumes from their site or from the school site when they review?

Just from what I've experienced, by doing it online, they have these filters that catch certain buzz words they're looking for. So for them, instead of sifting through 100 resumes themselves, these online systems can narrow it down for them.
It's an absolutely horrendous way to mine for talent, but it is what it is.
