Steep learning curve for a non-finance major (or anyone possibly in general), also you learn the fundamentals of how to value any business or assets in multiple industries. Highly transferable which leads to strong exit ops.
I don't love anything about it. I "like" the opportunity to learn a skill set that not many other people have. Going in as an IB analyst is just another transaction: bank gives you some decent experience + some chump change (relatively) , in exchange for crushing every bit of your soul.
