Why Goldman Sachs

Hi! I’m currently in the IBD process, next week is my final interview with the MD (outside US). The feedback that I have received is that I need to work on my “Why Goldman Sachs” question. Apart from the obvious answers, can someone give specific examples on how to ace that question?! Would be greatly appreciated

'After speaking with some recent graduates here from my school, I think Goldman has the strongest platform for my X industry preference because of its strength in M&A and ability to be a one-stop-shop for clients.'

Or some shit like that. There's only so much you can say. Given the number of applicants, you statistically can't think of something truly unique and mind-blowing, so just be confident and realistic in why you want them.

If they ask you if you want to do PE, just say, I lean toward being in IB long-term for a, b, & c reasons, but I don't know ultimately as I'm just a college sophomore and haven't experienced any of it full time.
