Why not switch to Slack?

Why do IB firms refuse to use Slack? I genuinely do not understand the archaic email communication threads along with the new introduction of MSFT Teams which is useless as fuck. Slack is a million times better for everyone to remain up to speed, share information, have quick back-and-forth for everyone in a channel to see. And it's not like it's insanely hard to use either. It doesn't have a steep learning curve and would just make life so much easier for keeping track of so much more.

Slack is objectively better, but firms already buy a Microsoft package for necessary things like email/Excel/PPT, so Teams is just kind of thrown in.

The cost for slack per user is nearly the cost of the entire Office package per user. It's not economic and teams is good enough. Skype was unusably bad but Teams has good app, email integration, and channel capabilities, just less sleek
