Will being a bad intern affect my IB job?
Current rising junior in college going to a BB next summer. I took an internship in sales/ops/strat at a random company (7-15 B market cap) over some boutique IBs for my soph summer as it paid the most. To be completely honest I slacked a lot this summer and my manager fucking hates me. My current company is not a client of my bank next summer, and none of the employees have any connection either. They do know I’m going the BB next summer (never bragged or acted like an ass about it, it just came up) Will my poor performance jeopardize my offer next summer? Would hate to get it rescinded.
