Will cold mails make sense?

Hi all. After an info session where I got a business card from one of the junior analyst alumni, I sent thank you letters with my resume, or cold emails to other bankers' email address according to their names... I know it's crazy because nobody here does such things... I am eager to be a part of the team and I am now afraid such cold mails will hurt my chance...

This will most likely not hurt your chances depending on the personalities of the group you sent it to. If it did hurt your chances then you may not want to work there anyways.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..
